There are days, I admit, that I long for quiet time. We have a very happy, busy, excited 3 year old that I don't always have the energy to keep up with!
He has gone with Papa and Grandma to Vegas to visit GG Ruth and this is day 2 without him home. It is too quiet. Both Darren and I keep wondering what he is doing and are missing that sweet little smile and voice. We can't wait to get a "super giant Jacob hug" when he returns tomorrow :) Makena is so quiet it almost seems like there are no kids here at all!
I am sure when Papa and Grandma return him to us, they will be the ones longing for some quiet!

A QUICK RANT!

So I was driving in to work today listing to talk radio,(Angie's favorite)they were talking about the Octomom. They said that the state will pay over $1 million in fees to Kaiser Hospitals. On top of that she will Receive over $3000 a month from the state to raise them. And we worry about cheating on our taxes for a few extra dollars.

The time has come...

Well, tomorrow it will happen. I have to leave the baby and go back to work. Yes I know she has been "trying" daycare for the past 2 days, but somehow it is different. Today I am home and can go run to get her and just sit with her on my lap if I wanted. Tomorrow I won't be home or even 5 minutes away from her. Maybe it is also because I know I will never again be on maternity leave just cuddling my baby all day. (and that is a FACT!!)

The boys both went to daycare/babysitters etc, but it doesn't make it any easier. The past 16 weeks have FLOWN by and I cannot believe my daughter (still sounds silly to say that) is off to hang out with her new "friends." I don't look forward to the extra layer of hectic that going back to work will add, but what can we do? It is necessary and I even quite like having adult conversations from time to time. Remind me of that when I am whining about having to work in the future.

Anyways, that is all for now!

Newbie here!

Ok, so we are going to try this blogging thing. We have lots of people we would like to share things with that don't get updated very often. Hence..this blog.
Now, I can't promise it will be updated every day, heck, even every week, but we will try! Our kids are growing so fast and we are making memories faster than we can capture and it becomes hard to remember who has been caught up or not!
So here we go...
